As we try to tie the major points raised in the previous paragraphs, it is expedient that we say that God couldn't have created the heavens well and the earth without form, Something must have happened to the earth to make it loose it's form and leave it in darkness.
No! Something happened to it.
The description or image painted was that of an abandoned place or a deserted place. The spirit of the lord had been dwelling in that land before, but it looks like the occupants polluted the earth and the Spirit of the Lord didn't have any where to stay other than hovering around.
The word hovering insinuates that the spirit of the land wanted to come down but was floating around the earth to see where it could land but no place to land!
The desire of God was to keep a Watcher on earth to reign and dominate. After making the heaven and the earth, he gave Lucifer and other Angels the earth as a trust for them to inhabit it and be the custodian.
We cannot say for real what was running through the mind of those first Watchers, may be they felt they had arrived, of a surety, the earth that was made must have been so beautiful. And they decided to see themselves bigger than the way God saw them and they rebelled. After so many years, or seasons the Lord came and saw that he needed another one to represent him on earth, however, the earth on ground wasn't a place anyone could inhabit hence, the Father took it upon himself again to renew, reconstruct and renovate the earth so that the new Watcher may take his position.
Gen1:2 “And the earth was without form and darkness was upon the face of the deep…and God said let there be light and there was light…26 And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish…28 And God blessed them and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply and replenish the earth subdue it and have dominion…” other versions of the bible interpreted that dominion as govern.
Gen1:26 suggests that man was _not an aftermath thought_ in God's agenda. "And Elohim (Gods) said let us make man in our own image..."
If the thought of making man was new then, the verse would have been best written as _"And God said, let us make a kind of creature after our image that will look like us and let us call him 'man'_ check other verses of creation in that same Genesis and see how it was reported. But for this, _it seems as though the thought of making man had been in God all the way_ He was created last doesn't mean he is in the last position in God's agenda.
And so it is obvious that man was not created by the creation. The creations was created for the man but the man was not created for the creation. All these will be explained better in latter part of this manuscript. The main thought here is that the creatures were made to submit to the authority and rulership of man. Little wonder, Jesus said to the Pharisees "Ye are gods!"
The Lion is an emblem of the apostolic because it greatly depicts the governing function of the apostolic generation who makes up the true church. The Lion doesn’t govern the animal kingdom in fear or by some sort of laborious work. It doesn’t govern by accruing to itself empires or estates. The Lion ultimately governs by authority. when the Lion roars, every elements of the jungle will tremble not because he is dangerous but because of the wisdom that comes with the roar, no doubt even its roar is an impartation.
One of the signs of the apostolic is authority and one of the dangers is that it would be the most greatly attacked or frustrated move of God. Why? Because this is the actual destiny of man from the beginning. This end-time move is encapsulated in the word.
GOING BACK TO THE FUTURE...
