God's Desire

Text: 1Samuel 13 vs 14.
"But now your kingdom shall not continue; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart; and the LORD has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you."

Saul's kingdom was torn from him because he disobeyed God and did according to his own will and God had to locate a man who pleases him and set him on the throne while Saul was still alive.

God did not just need men to do something but those who will do it according to his will and purpose. Someone might err from God and he might still be in office(Position) physically and God might have chosen another  person to replace such a person if he or she disregard His will.

Many people had been called and they fell off and thereby remained useless and not fit for God's purpose anymore because they turned down God's will and do what pleases them.

Let's abide by God's will that we may maintain our dominion and be useful in God's plans now and forever more.

For more, study ( John 15 vs 4-11 1Samuel 2 vs 27-36, Job 8 vs 12-15).
