Continuation of One
....This is beyond the succour of our Nous or political prowess,
Its has surpassed our religiosity and stiff-tribalism,
Rendering us in some deserving cataclysm,
Save our nation O Lord, we surely are helpless.
Father of creation, we all have sinned,
Arise in your mercy and heal our land,
Abelic soul-cry reaching heaven, we can't deny,
But on a greater blood on calvary do we rely,
In tears we seek mercy against this lividity,
Destroy the stubborn oppressor that rejoices in our infirmity,
Breathe upon us again, father of divinity,
O God of creation, please direct our noble cause!
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.(2 Chron 7:14)
