"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time". -(1 John:2:18)
The cry of the Spirit at this endtime is Revival. Like never before believers need to cry out for sincere and genuine revival as an individual and as a church. The way things are going now needs a urgent attention before the time become too late.
Suppose you are told with all conviction that you have one hour more to live. What would you do ? Would you burst into tears of regret? Would you burst into tears and ask God why should you die when you are not yet married, when you don't have a good job, when you don't have your own car ? Would you ask for your best meal and enjoy for the last time ? Would you start drinking and finish a carton of beer at a go ? Would you break down before the Lord into tears and repentance asking Him to forgive all your short comings ? Or would you start praising God that you are coming home to Him ? Are you ready to meet your savior ? Today, it is clear that the priority of many people who call themselves Christians is not the willingness to make heaven. All they want is to live a good life here on earth.
God is warning us in that text. He warn His people all the time and He has reasons for warning them. Once His patience and long suffering expires, the next thing is judgement.
There are some deep questions You need to ask yourself and answer carefully:
1. When last do you evangelize ?
2. When last do you hear directly from God ?
3. What quality of time do you spend personally with God ?
4. When last do you have a vision of Heaven ?
5. How hungry are you about spiritual growth ?
6. How are you utilizing the gifts of God in you?
7. How deep are you in the Word of God?
8. How many hours do you set aside for prayer ?
9. Is your lifestyle pointing people to God or to hell fire ?
10. Is God and Heaven your Priority ?
11. Are you doing what God wants you to be doing?
12. Is God is really happy with you with the way you are living your life ?
Revival means an outpouring of God's Spirit to cause a great re-awakening in the body of Christ.
Revival do not necessarily mean walking in the miraculous and extraordinary manifestation. But a realization of a place left in God and coming back to position.
Revival is when a man/woman realizes he/she is out of position and circumference in God and make a quick U-turn. Extraordinary manifestation of God's power is part of revival, but that is what accompany any revival. The Almighty God is mostly interested in you and I getting revived personally, He wants you to return back to your first love, where He can reach you and have your attention. Until a man become revived personally he cannot host and manifest the glory and the power of God.
If God should decide to take a look at what you have done so far in the kingdom, what do you think He will say about You ?
Our society is full of unrevived souls and that's why power is scares in our society. Youths are not demonstrating the power of God because of lack of focus and priority. The major need of every Christian now is Revival, because many Christians have failed God, many Christians have disappointed heaven. God has entrusted us with so much but what are we delivering unto Him ? What are we giving back to God?
Beloved, Heaven and hell is real and it is the way you live your life here that will determine where you will end up in eternity. Mark 9:43-48. Many of us need the vision of how great God is and His dreadfulness so that we can sit up and do the needful. The vision Isaiah saw made him sit up and become serious with God. What vision have you saw about heaven ?
If God should only open your eyes to see heaven and torment of hell, you will become a changed person. Our actions and attitude shows we are not heavenly conscious and focused. Christian that live without this consciousness cannot enter.
When last do you read your Bible and burst into action ? God wants you to be His battle axe at this endtime but lack of personal revival is causing a huge problem. God has committed souls into your hand to win to His kingdom but what are you doing concerning them ? Is your lifestyle not chasing people away ? Revival is what we need at this critical end time. Very soon the Rapture will take place either you are alive or not it doesn't matter but what matter is will You here the sound of the trumpet and be quicken ?
God is warning us everyday and every seconds but instead of us to pay attention and quickly do something we are stiff necked.
Beloved what do you want to give account of on that Great Day ? When God will sit on the Throne. When His face will be fearful that you cannot look at Him, when the Father will not look the face of His Son but judge the world with the Gospel of His Son. A day when heaven and earth will disappear before Him, a Day of fear and wrath. Mercy will not be available, the Father will turn His back at His Son and pronounce strict judgement on the world. What account do you want to give? Is it that you have not heard or what ? When the roll is called up yonder will you be there ? This is enough to make anyone
