The words of the Wise

Text: Proverbs 13 vs 14.
"The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death."

Many people goes to the house of God on Sunday to praise, worship, dance, pray and to show off but when it is time for the sermon they engage themselves with their mobile phones, friends e.t.c and after they go home.
After some period of time they get themselves into trouble and battling with challenges of all sort and they tend to make a statement that they do pray to God often and question God why is such happening to them.

Many times God wants to speak to his people but they are too busy to learn and hear from God by reading the Holy Scripture and listen to messages spoken by God through his servants.

Jesus Christ prayed and fasted forty days and night and after it was satan he encountered being tempted by him.

Assuming Jesus was too busy and he lacked the knowledge of what is written in the Holy Scriptures, He would have been a serious victim of the devil after 40 days of no food with prayer. Jesus Christ is the son of God but he came and passed through all process of mankind except the mating between man and woman before his conception.

The Holy Scriptures contains teachings and instructions by God that will save us from evil and from the path of destruction.
Always thirst after it.
