Germany team bus slogan backfired and now haunting them

Germay’s  team bus slogan has backfired as the disgraced reigning world champions were dumped out of the World Cup.It was the first time in 80 years that Germany had been knocked out in the group stages and the slogan inadvertently reflected their ‘achievement’.

The team bus has the slogan ‘let’s write history together’ splashed across the side and that is exactly what Joachim Low’s side did.

Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and co were snapped as the team bus departed from the hotel and passing through Vnukovo airport this morning as their World Cup defence finished after just 13 days.

Low had taken his side to the semi-finals in all five of his previous major tournaments and led Germany to the Confederations Cup last summer despite fielding a second-string side.
