PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION; OUR EXPECTIONS ~ NANS FORMER DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT.

PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION; OUR EXPECTIONS ~ NANS FORMER DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT.

The Presidential Inauguration was observed as usual on the 29th of may 2019 were President Mohammadu Buhari was sworn in as the President of Nigeria for the second time.

As citizens is it good to raise observations, suggestions and opinions on what is to be done and what is expected of our leaders to move the country forward.

Among other areas, the President should focus more on Security of lives and properties of all Nigerians, as it is the only avenue for other developments, as the absence of peace and tranquility in any society will give room for under development.

The Army, Police, Civil Defence, DSSS and all other Security agencies be empowered with all needed tools to perform their duties effectively.

Furthermore, Mr. President should also look into the Educational system of the country, our higher institutions needs funding, the required 26% UNESCO budget should be made available and all states should be directed to follow suit. This will surely boost our Education and it give room for we the children of the masses to  access to quality education at all level.

Youth empowerment is also essential, job and employment opportunities to encourage all educated youths and also entrepreneurship skills to take the uneducated ones off the street.

The youths can also be useful in the area of agriculture, what is needed are tools, grains and lands that will make farming more easier and enjoyable to venture into.

Our women also need more space in governance, they are more passionate about the growth of our country, they can still do more if given the needed space to operate.

I congratulate you on the success of your inauguration and look forward to a prosperous Nigeria in the next four years.

Comr. Famuyibo Oluwasegun (Captain)
NANS Deputy Senate President
(2014 - 2016).
