The blood is a symbol of bleeding from a living person. No man is exposed to bleeding without being pierced (John 19:34, I John 5:6, 8). The Christian life is not possible without the shedding of blood (Heb. 9:22) because Jesus died that we might claim His death for our complete cleansing, remission, redemption and salvation (2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 2:15-16 ;).
His suffering was a propitiation (replacement) for our sins, a replacement for our shame and death; for we were worthy of death; No man can see God except he dies! Because the wages of sin is death, Rom 6:23; and all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. This same death has been carried out by the Lord at Calvary.
All we need to do is to lay claim to the blood and strongly believe in its power.
Do you really know how powerful the Lord’s blood is? Just remember the angel of destruction in the case of the Israelites when they were in Egypt.
He was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for your sins and by His strips ye are healed.
If you believe, you can receive the benefits of Christ’s death and resurrection which are total freedom from sin, sickness, bondage and every form of problem.
The moment we realise that the blood of Jesus is powerful to do unimaginable things the better for us as Christians, knowing the power in the blood is vital in our Christian journey. I pray as we fellowship with God , the power in His blood will be made known unto us in Jesus name
