PLACING A DEMAND ON THE ANOINTING

Ministry gifts have living reservoirs. There is a deposit of the grace and power of God in their lives. But if there is no demand, there is no flow. Every minister of God carries different types and measures of unction.

One is greatly anointed to teach, another to preach and yet another to heal particular diseases. It is the responsibility of God’s children to draw from that supply, for there are miracles, revelation and deliverance in that revelation and deliverance in that reservoir.

LET US MEDITATIVELY CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
1. Jesus as a reservoir of all graces.
a. Lk. 6:19 Virtue came out Jesus because the people drew from His
anointing.
b. Mk 5:24-34. You can literally pull the anointing out of ministry
gifts (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers) by
your faith. Many times, believers just sit back and wait for the man or woman of God to do something. Mk. 1:26, 28, 32-34, Acts 5:14:16.
c. If there is no demand, there will be no supply. Mk. 6:5-6 unbelief
blocks the flow, faith releases the flow. Lk 5:17-20, 2Kg. 4:8-17
2. Elisha as a reservoir
a. 2Kg 13:20, 21 he even died with the anointing, people of his days
did not tap into it.
b. Lk. 4:25-27 Though Elisha had enough anointing in his bones to
raise the dead, people of God still died of leprosy in Israel

HOW TO PUT A DEMAND ON THE ANOINTING
A. Rom. 10:17 Faith comes by hearing. Lk 4:18,19 Jesus declared the grace that he carried to the people so that men could draw from it. People have to hunger and thirst for the things of the spirit.

Hungry souls will always draw from the anointing. Acts 28:8-10.
B. Honoring men of God releases the flow of the unction that they carry. Mk 6:4-5; Mt. 9:27-30; 1Tim. 5:17-18.
C. Set your hearts right and determine to receive also. For she said within herself, if I may but touch the helm of His garment I shall be made whole.
The grace that you do not appreciate and celebrate, you can never attract or get blessed by it.
