SNYC TO PRESIDENT BUHARI: NIGERIAN YOUTH ARE NOT LAZY.
The Southern Nigerian Youth Congress has responded to a statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Commonwealth yesterday.
In a statement personally signed by the President General of the organization Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun, he said Nigerian youths are vibrant, innovative and hardworking. These are evident in their daily activities and showcased to the world beyond our boarders.
The President should visit Lagos, Portharcourt, Aba and all other States of the federation to see how Nigerian youths are working everyday to make ends meet.
It is highly disappointing of the President of our beloved country (Nigeria) to make such an horrible statement against the youths of his country that brought him to power.
President Buhari should have created an enabling environment for the youth and watch them making mega contributions instead of making such derogatory remarks on the youths of Nigeria..
He also said that Nigerian youths will revolt against President Buhari quest for a second term come 2019 general elections.
Woe unto thee called leaders who bastardized all strata of our educational system with incessant strike orchestrated by poor condition of service for the teachers and yet turn round to cast aspersion on our persons and personalities. It should be noted that we are the quest for justice of our people (the youths), may God help us in getting justice for all and may god help those who are against us.
