"Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing, and they divided up his clothes by casting lots."
One of the best way to live and to obtain mercy in the sight of God is living a life which forgives others of their offences.
There is no way in which we will not be offended by anyone but the best thing and way to go about it is forgiving one another.
Holding an offence against your neighbour also makes your own sins against God unforgivable. Live the life of love in which you are given in Christ and you will find rest for your soul.
