Handing over statement by NANS chairman

BEING AN HANDING OVER SPEECH DELIVERED BY COM. OWOLABI TEMITAYO(TOWER) THE OUTGOING CHAIRMAN OF NANS JCC EKITI AXIS ON THIS DAY 8TH JUNE, 2018.

I give glory to Almighty God the author and finisher of our faith, who sustained my government since it's inception till date, despite the rough, harsh, rugged and adventurous journey.
I must appreciate all leaders and cadres In the system, those who did well and those who fell to the test of loyalty and struggle.
I appreciate my fellow executives, for the support, brilliance and articulacy. They stood by me, through thick and thin. God bless you in your future endeavors
Truly, there were ups and downs, there were successes and failures, there were places we deserve accolades and places we deserve to be flogged but either praised or flogged, it was all a lesson, a lesson well learnt.
Like I said, we had our successess but they were mostly unsung.
I must confess, I have not enjoyed the best of administrations just like my predecessors who came on platter of gold, as we inherited a dilapidated system but to the glory of God I am handing over a strong, edible structure built on a bedrock of peace, truth and strength, but as we know Rome wasn't built in a day. What's left is to ensure unity in our structure which is not going to be achieved by the new executives alone but by our collective input.
We successfully and as lone ranger fought and achieve the long overdue payment of bursaries to our students.
We fiercely stood against cultism and other vices in our system and as at today, I'm proud to let you know that, there is amnesty for repentant cultists and death penalty for an unrepentant cultist courtesy of His Excellency Gov. Peter Ayodele Fayose.
I maintained peaceful coexistence of the students and our security operatives in the state, by putting up fight against the tyranny of the Nigerian SARS officers and the struggle is still on.
As an apostle of peace and collectivism, maintenance preservation of our prestigious 3C's of agitation was my countersign. I successfully upgraded the system from its rough and hooliganic style of agitation to a mature, scientific style of agitation
If I should continue, I mi say much more than necessary but I won't want to spend much time because time is money.
Like I use to say, I believe competence not capacity, I believe brilliance not oratory, I believe in prowess not gutlessness. I BELIEVE IN CONTINUITY. I BELIEVE IN COM. OWOLEWA TAIWO to move this organization to a more corking height.
My adjurations:
NANSJCC EKITI AXIS is still a work in progress, do not let it fall. I don't believe posterity but I believe in KARMA. What you sow today, is what you reap tomorrow.
Remember NANS JCC EKITI AXIS is one big family, so do not detest, do not despise but embrace love.
Also it is expedient I reiterate prudence in your dealings, as we your leaders has done. Maintain the 3C's of agitation and remember there is no solution in violence..

Mother earth will not forgive if I fail to wish my boss, my leader and my brother HON. SUNDAY ANIFOWOSE (SUNSHINE) a happy, glorious and meritorious birthday. More years and wins.
Lastly, I must appreciate the Government of Ekiti State most especially the governor and the deputy governor His Excellency kolapo OLUSOLA. For there support and cares. Sincerely If I have my way, continuity will be the song on everyones lips but it's never too late.
