NYCN) EKITI STATE CHAPTER MEETS HON. DEJI OGUNSAKIN,

NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (NYCN) EKITI STATE CHAPTER MEETS HON. DEJI OGUNSAKIN, DRUMS SUPPORT FOR ELEKA/DEJI AGENDA - Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun, NYCN PRO, Ekiti State Chapter, Reporting.

18th June 2018.
The National Youth Council Of Nigeria Ekiti State Chapter paid an advocacy visit to Hon. Deji Ogunsakin (Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People's Democratic Party) in the forthcoming Governorship election in Ekiti State.

The NYCN led by its Chairman, Rt.Hon. Adedamola Ogunmola  commends and appreciates the Governor of Ekiti State  H.E Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose for giving the youths of Ekiti State the privilege and enabling environment to participate fully in governance within the state.

It is worthy of note that the current administration of Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has fully involved the youths of Ekiti State in Governance, as we have youths between the ages of 30 to 45 at various elective offices, ranging from Local Government chairmen, councillors, House of Assembly members and other sensitive portfolios.

We cannot but support one of us, Hon. Deji Ogunsakin who is a young and vibrant youth who has proven diligence and hardwork while he was Chairman of Ado Ekiti local Government.

The Council in a matter of days will mobilize over 10,000 youths across the various youth structures within the state, which includes faith and religious based youth organizations, voluntary youth organizations, community based youth organizations in support of the Continuity Agenda which is youth inclusive.

Hon. Deji Ogunsakin (The Deputy Governor hopeful) in his response appreciates the leadership of the National Youth Council Of Nigeria for their activities and capacity in putting the youth structure of the state in proper shape.

He further pledged to always support the Council whenever the need arises. He further pleaded for the support of all Ekiti youths in voting for the PDP at the forthcoming Governorship election in Ekiti State as that is the only opportunity for the youth to remain in the politically relevant in the administration of the State.

As he further opined, this is the time for the youths to take their rightful place in the leadership of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large. "I'm a youth and we must come together to make sure we fill the leadership vacuum and take our place in the leadership spaces of the state and country at large."
