THE KEY TO LIVING YOUR FUTURE

 

 

Life is a race, the earlier understood, the brighter the chance of enlistment. While success, wealth and riches have special roles in ensuring our satisfactory survival, yet not many of us, in spite of all these things, really discover who we are, or live to be who we were born to be.

                Moreover, quite a good number of us have become sailors who cease rowing by leaning on the handles of their oars, thereby lifting them horizontally out of water; relaxing our efforts, beclouded by your past successes, without making any progress again.

The past is the past, not the present, not the future, it is good/fine to remember but important not to allow it determine your present and future, one thing Jesus is that he forgot the past(sins) 

KEYS FOR LIVING THE FUTURE

• Forget whatever is stopping you from going into the future, your past timeline not withstanding
• Look past what you did, look into you could do.
• Forget what is behind to become successful.
• Always remind yourself  "I am the sum total of the decision"
• If you don’t like what you remember, create a new memory.
• I have to press (persistently) into my future.
• You have to be determined enough to be and make that change
• Submit to someone who can help you (JESUS), and his proven servants.

Paul had some unpleasant memories that could have been some weight to him, but he FORGOT. Hear him speak in Philipians 3:13 " Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..."

Failure or success yesterday? Forget it! Press into something more challenging. Never limit God;s power in you, its beyond the reasoning of all of the professors in the world put together.

This is the chiefest of all the keys to living your future.
