OSUN ELECTION: SNYC CARPETS INEC, SAYS OSUN SPOKE LOUD AND CLEAR.

the leadership of the Southern Nigerian Youth Congress (SNYC) has carpets the Independence  Electoral Commission (INEC) on her refusal to declare the winner of the just concluded Governorship election in Osun State.

Speaking to news men after the election was declared inconclusive, the  Spokesperson to the President of the organization, Amb. Adebayo Odunayo described the action of INEC as uncalled for and a slap on the face of Nigeria Democracy.

It is highly disheartening that INEC is no more independent, the votes and election results at our disposal presented by various observers shows that Osun State citizens voted emass for the People's Democratic Party's candidate Sen. Adeleke, we against the upturn of election results by INEC and the technical rigging of the election result.

The cancellation of votes belonging to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has shown that the citizens of Osun are fully behind the candidacy of Sen. Adeleke.

In as much as we keep our fingers crossed on further developments as regards the liberation of Osun State and also to uphold Democracy in Nigeria, we urge the Federal Government of Nigeria to totally embrace Democracy and allow the wish of the people prevail, he said.
