So relax; lets learn together, as we explore the seven traits and lessons from this unique bird.
- TRAIT 1:
In the midst of storms, eagles surprisingly get excited with such a harsh atmosphere. Humorously, yet exemplary, an eagle uses the storms to lift itself higher and far above the clouds, isn’t that amazing?
LESSON: Your present situation is not to your disadvantage if only you can see beyond the storms. Great achievers make use of oppositions, criticisms, and challenges in a profitable way. No man can escape the storms of life in one way or the other, so expect the storms, yes, please expect the disappointments, loss, failures, neglect, ridicule e.t.c, yes, expect them please, you know why? You can’t escape them, but see this, even in that storm, there is a hope. The only hope and guarantee for overcoming those storms is to have peace with the one greater than the storm. What do I mean by this? (John 16:33) has it all “I have told you these things, so in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take courage! I have overcome”. Hence, take courage in him despite the troubles, peace is sure.
- TRAIT 2
Eagles have such an uncommon vision, interestingly, when an eagle sights his prey he will not shift focus from that prey until he captures it.
LESSON: Vision is great, but an unshakable focus on such vision to see it happen is probably greater. Without vision, the people perish. Without focus, the visionary becomes ineffectual. Personal or societal progress is grossly dependent on visionary leadership
- TRAIT 3
Eagles flock together: This truth I believe illustrate the uniqueness of eagles, although, they may mix with other birds in times of company just to find something to eat and then take off,
Eat: They are committed learners.
The words of Brain Tracy can’t be forgotten as he said “LEADERS ARE COMMITTED LEARNERS. Though eagles eat, but they dont feed on dead animals, even in our readings, lets read good and profitable books to the human spirit.
Take off: As the book of all books had rightly said, although ye are in this world, but not of the world
Eagles do not compromise their standards by conforming to lower standards. Believers are encouraged to keep the gaze upon Jesus.
- TRAIT 4
Eagles Test before Trusting
When a female eagle meets a male in their eyries for mating, she first tests his commitment.
Then and only then will she allow him to mate with her.
LESSON: You are already in a relationship with a young lady or man whose YES, means NO, whose interest is a figured, bandage-like body shape of eight and wrinkles face, It will sock you that when he or she finds a better person with those superficial attributes, there will be trouble in that relationship or marriage. Why don’t you test his or her commitment? One should test the commitment of people intended for partnership.
How can I test for my partner’s commitment to me? READ HERE.
