You must have heard the popular saying "Like mother like daughter; like father like son".
In fact, many young men when questioned, had said "the nature/ character of their mother-in-law to-be, is usually a pointer to the kind of bride to-be, as such, determine if he will get married to her daughter or not.
On the other hand, a few young ladies have said when the get married to a man, they get married to not just the man, but a generation, as such "the kind or nature of their father in-law is so crucial to be considered in having a life partner.
Will a fierce/greedy/promiscuous/polygamous/polyandrous; father or mother-in-law possibly birth the same nature into his/her son or daughter?

ReplyDeleteI think the statement is not always true, because a mother can behave waywardly and the daughter will not with the help of God and other disciplined people around her, and vice versa. So the behavior of a mother and a daughter might not be the same because the way they both live is a matter of choice and not necessarily based on their environment.
