Opinion poll; Like Mother like daughter, like father like son? Is this statement always true?

Hello friends, lovers and followers of the crownpasteblog, compliments of the season, its our prayer that the peace of God dwell with you continually.

You must have heard the popular saying "Like mother like daughter; like father like son".

In fact, many young men when questioned, had said "the nature/ character of their mother-in-law to-be, is usually a pointer to the kind of bride to-be, as such, determine if he will get married to her daughter or not.

On the other hand, a few young ladies have said when the get married to a man, they get married to not just the man, but a generation, as such "the kind or nature of their father in-law is so crucial to be considered in having a life partner.

Will a fierce/greedy/promiscuous/polygamous/polyandrous; father or mother-in-law possibly birth the same nature into his/her son or daughter?

   Dear reader, what's your view?
Is this always true?

Like mother like daughter; like father like son".

  2. I think the statement is not always true, because a mother can behave waywardly and the daughter will not with the help of God and other disciplined people around her, and vice versa. So the behavior of a mother and a daughter might not be the same because the way they both live is a matter of choice and not necessarily based on their environment.
