"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
God Is In Constant Pursuit of Relationships. The Bible is a relationship manual. The Scriptures are full of people that did not know how to get along with God. Isaiah 1:18 says, "Come now, and let us reason together,...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." God wants to be the healer and the restorer of our life. God Had A Son But He Wanted A Family, He Sowed His Son To Create His Family. The purpose of any relationship is completion and addition.
Make a commitment to God. He made one to you in the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ. Gethsemane was commitment. Calvary was another sign of commitment. The Blood and Cross of Jesus was the total expression of love through commitment.
Getting along with God will require spending time in His Presence, studying His Word and praying..., (As a man, if an unworthy person should keep coming to your house daily, one day he will catch your attention as he persist). God is better than man, then remain there, that's where both love for God and people springs and natured.
The Price of God's Presence Is sacrificing Time. if we claim to have a quality time with God, its evidence will be "the amount of His secrets in our possession/disposal.
Love is shown through sacrifice; those who shows love may not find it easy, especially unto those they considered "not worthy", until they grown in it..
"Romans 5:8* says,
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
It was a hard, tuff, difficult and a terrible thing for God to watching Christ dying and eventually died all because He loved this sinful world! It was an unexplainable heart shattered experience! And that should be the traits of we the children of God begotten by that sacrifice cause a Lion will naturally won't give birth to a Goat.
Romans 5:7 says,
"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Christ was willing to die and He finally died for unworthy people like us. What should hinder our love for others then? There shouldn't be any reason whatsoever!
Give God your time this Easter season. Show Him that you appreciate His love and Son by first and foremost loving Him(Christ) and show the love even to unlovable(s) around you. Whatever will cost you nothing will also not bring anything better in your life.
Happy Easter and God bless you all in Jesus (the crucified and resurrected) Name.
