The Moon was getting behind the clouds, the glitters of the stars was becoming conspicuous, it was Twilight,
evening atmosphere could be felt with the rythymic sound of mortal and pestel,
like gun spree.
It was time for food, the last of the day.
Right in the kitchen was a poisonous rat(Asin), inside a basket, the basket was taken outside the kitchen so as not to kill the rat in the kitchen.
While that was happening, I was arming my arm and oiling my gun through handling a bulky bunch of broom and squeezing it into some smartness, and I was prepared to attack the very desperate rat who was then uncomfortable squeezing through the restrictions of the holes of the basket.
Alas!
Out it came,
All hail the rat,
then it was all left to me to strike with my preparedness and anticipation, but I unfortunately missed my first strike and had to chase the little rat, with a huge broom and ultimately failed to kill the rat.
It was a very ridiculous and forgetable experience, because it was then like I was Aimar Khan on a big cinema screen, and people were expecting action from me, there were great expectations to deliver something, I failed to deliver it.
PLEASE STOP COMPARING ME WITH MESSI, WE ARE NOT FRIENDS
I could only offer all night topic and laughter.
Sometimes, the pestle might miss the mortal more than seldomly, your targets might not be hitting.
You might be getting a negative result even after a perfect plan,
ofcourse, the confidence and momemtum inside of me subdued as a result of not killing the rat, but I had to pick myself up,which I did.
.
We can always try again, yes we can,
if a man dies by road accident it doesn't mean we wouldn't drive.
If a man dies by plane crash it doesn't mean we wouldn't fly,
if a man dies by food poisoning it doesn't mean we wouldn't eat.
If Ronaldo misses his target,
it doesn't mean he wouldn't shoot again.
It's just an opportunity to make a better attempt and strike again.
It's another Friday.
Enjoy the beauty of weekend,
E. O. Falode, Pelfald,
Esq.
